These terms are the agreement between you and Letsss. We kept them short and in everyday words. Please read them: by creating an account, you accept them.
The short version
You must be 18 or older. Your account is tied to your email address.
Letsss is free during the beta. If paid plans come, we’ll tell you well in advance.
Reputation and credits are points, not money. They can’t be bought, sold or cashed out.
Each community sets its own rules and its admins run it. Be respectful.
You own what you post, and you’re responsible for it.
Letsss helps you plan. It doesn’t organize or supervise meetups: take care of yourself when you meet people.
Moroccan law applies, and you keep every right consumer law gives you.
When you create an account, you confirm that you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Letsss.
Letsss is in a closed beta. These terms are a draft that a lawyer will review before Letsss opens to everyone. If the final version changes anything important, we’ll tell you first (see “Changes to these terms”).
3. Who can use Letsss
You must be 18 or older. Letsss is about meeting people in person, so it isn’t open to minors. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we’ll close it.
One person, one account. Use your real name or the name people know you by, and don’t pretend to be someone else.
You sign in with a link or a code sent to your email address, or with your Google account, so there’s no password. Keep your email and Google accounts safe: anyone who can get into them can sign in as you.
Tell us at hello@letsss.app if you think someone else got into your account.
4. What Letsss does
Letsss lets a group (a team, a club, friends) run its social life as a community. A member proposes a plan, others vote on the details, join, show up and get checked in, then review the plan. A points system rewards people who keep their word and host well.
Communities are public (listed, anyone can join after accepting the rules, sometimes with an admin’s approval) or private (by invitation, invitation link or work email address).
Because this is a beta, features will change, some may disappear and things may break. We do our best to keep Letsss running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available.
5. Reputation and credits
Each community has its own points: Reputation (public standing, never spent) and credits (used inside the community, for example as a deposit when you join a plan). They are a game that helps the group work, nothing more.
Points have no money value. They can’t be bought, sold, exchanged, cashed out or moved to another community or to another person outside the rules of the game.
When you join a plan, a small deposit of credits may be held. It comes back when you show up. If you don’t show up, it goes into the season pot, which is drawn among the members who always show up. Only credits are drawn, never money.
Points work by seasons and follow the community’s settings, which its admins can change for the next season.
Community admins can correct a member’s points (never their own), and every correction is recorded in an audit log. We may also correct points after a bug, a mistake or an abuse of the rules.
If a community is deleted, or if you leave it or delete your account, its points have no value to claim.
Your track record (for example “Shows up 96% · 48 events”) is a summary of how reliable you are, not a currency.
We may later offer real rewards for some community achievements. If we do, they will come with their own rules, published before they start.
6. Communities and their admins
Each community has an owner and may have admins. They write the community’s rules, choose its settings, approve or invite members, and can remove or ban members who break the rules.
Joining a community means accepting its rules on top of these terms. If a community’s rules conflict with these terms, these terms win.
Admins must use their powers fairly and for the community, not to harass or single out members.
Letsss platform admins can act in any community to keep people safe or apply these terms: they handle reports and can suspend accounts or communities.
In communities run by a company, points, levels and reliability have no link to HR or evaluations, and admins can’t export members’ point histories.
7. What’s not allowed
Be the kind of member you’d want to meet. In particular, don’t:
harass, threaten, insult or discriminate against anyone;
post anything illegal, sexual content, violent content, or someone else’s private information;
propose plans that are dangerous, illegal or a trap, or use Letsss to sell things, recruit or spam;
use fake accounts or several accounts, or cheat the points system (fake check-ins, deals to trade points);
try to break, overload, scrape or get around the security of Letsss.
8. What you post
You keep ownership of what you post: plans, descriptions, votes, reviews, comments, wishes and photos. You are responsible for it, and you confirm you have the right to post it.
So that Letsss can work, you give us a free, non-exclusive permission to store, show and format your content inside the service, for the people who are allowed to see it (for example a plan’s preview when its link is shared). This permission ends when the content is deleted, except for copies we must keep (see the privacy policy).
We never machine-translate what you write: it is shown as you wrote it.
We may hide or remove content that breaks these terms or a community’s rules.
9. Meeting in person
Most plans happen offline. Letsss is a tool to plan them: we don’t organize or supervise plans, check anyone’s identity or background, or guarantee that people will come or behave well. The member who proposes a plan and the people who join are responsible for how it goes.
Meet in a public place the first time, and tell someone where you’re going.
Go at your own pace. You can leave a plan or go home at any time; your safety matters more than your points.
Think about the risks of the activity (sport, travel, alcohol) and whether it suits you.
Fees that a host asks for (a court, a meal, a ticket) are agreed and paid between members. Letsss doesn’t handle that money.
In an emergency, call the local emergency number first: in Morocco, 19 for the police and 15 for an ambulance; in the EU, 112.
Report anything that worries you, from the plan or member page or at hello@letsss.app.
10. Reports, suspensions and leaving
Anyone can report a plan, a member, a comment or a community. Reports go to the community’s admins, or to us when they’re about the community itself or its admins.
If you break these terms, we may remove your content, or suspend or close your account. When we can, we tell you why. If you think we got it wrong, write to us and we’ll look again.
You can leave a community, or delete your account, at any time from the app. What happens to your data is explained in the privacy policy.
11. Price
Letsss is free during the beta. Later, some communities or features may need a paid plan (for example large private communities). Public communities will stay free.
We’ll announce any paid plan at least 30 days before it applies, and we’ll never charge you without your clear agreement. Money will never buy Reputation or credits.
12. Our responsibility
We provide Letsss with care, but as a free beta, as it is. We are responsible for the harm we cause by our own fault, as the law provides.
We aren’t responsible for what members post, for what happens at plans, or for how members behave with each other, because we don’t organize or attend them.
We aren’t responsible for indirect losses, or for interruptions caused by things outside our control (outages of our providers, network failures).
None of this limits our responsibility for fraud, serious negligence, or bodily harm caused by our fault, nor any right you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when Letsss changes or when the law requires it. For important changes, we’ll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they apply. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account before then; if you keep using Letsss afterwards, the new terms apply.
The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Moroccan law. If something goes wrong, write to us first at hello@letsss.app: most problems can be solved that way.
If we can’t agree, the competent courts of Morocco will decide. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protections of your country’s law and you can also go to your local courts.
